Marc Maleh currently serves as a Global Director at Havas, working across the entire network and book of clients, including the likes of Sanofi, Hershey and Con Edison. Marc leads diverse teams of Creative Technologists, Engineers and designers and is passionate that internal teams and clients feel inspired and educated on new technologies and platforms. Marc is a deep believer in the power of technology and has expertise in AI/ML, AR and VR. Marc loves the challenge of producing powerful work on new platforms and often demystifies technology for audiences when we speaks. Prior to his role at Havas, Marc served as VP, Managing Director at R/GA, where he helped grow a team of Data

Scientists, technologists, and creatives who built data driven platforms and campaigns for Nike, LA Dodgers, MD Anderson Cancer Research Center, Samsung and Verizon.  Marc has also managed international design and technology teams in New York and Shanghai for Screampoint, working with clients that included Apple, AIG, World Trade Center Development, Hudson Yards Development and Jamba Juice. Marc has been a Judge at the Cannes International Festival of Creativity and has spoken at Fast Company Innovation Festival, Venture Beat AI Conference,  NYC Media Lab, General Assembly, Parsons and Montana State University.  In the Spring of 2018 Marc will be teaching at NYU's ITP program on Creativity in the times of AI.  Marc received his is BA from Lehigh University and is Masters from NYU's ITP program.

 

Ben Tatta is Co-Founder and President of 605. He brings more than 25 years of media, technology and entertainment experience to his role at the company, where he leads strategy, business development, data and client solutions. Most recently, Ben served as President of Cablevision Media Sales, the television and digital sales division of Cablevision Systems Corporation, where he led the company’s overall media sales vision, strategy and plan including advanced advertising, product development and technology. During his tenure at Cablevision, Ben spearheaded the first system-wide deployment of household-level addressable advertising and pioneered breakthrough audience measurement and analytics solutions using census-level set-top box data. Prior to Cablevision Ben held senior leadership positions at such companies as USA Networks, IBM, ABC, Lagardere Media and eBay Enterprise Marketing. He received a B.A. in Economics from Villanova University.

 

Alana (Davis) Brown, Global Product Partnerships, Google: As a part of the Global Product Partnerships organization at Google, Alana leads partnerships with industry leaders to enable compelling user experiences on the Google Assistant.  Prior to Google, Alana led various strategic innovation projects during her time in Corporate Strategy at the Walt Disney Company, the Mobile team at CBS Interactive, and Licensing at Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products.  Alana earned both her undergraduate in Economics and her MBA at Harvard University, and now resides in West Orange, NJ with her husband and son.

 

Jennifer Cooper, Director of Industry Strategy in Media and Entertainment, Adobe: As Adobe's director of industry strategy in media and entertainment, Jennifer Cooper brings more than 20 years of experience in sales, business development and strategy management in technology, publishing and digital media industries. Her work with C-level digital media executives provides her with extensive knowledge of publishing, media and entertainment industries as well as best business practices and solutions. Prior to joining Adobe, Jennifer was Founder and CEO of Mixercast, a social applications company. Before that, she served as Executive Director of Business Development for Yahoo! Inc., where she designed and launched Yahoo!’s first video subscription service and managed large media industry relationships including Hearst, Scripps, ABC/Disney, Viacom, Time Warner, Fox and NBC Universal.

 

Ryan Detert, CEO, Influential: As CEO of Influential, an A.I. influencer technology and developer partner of IBM Watson, Ryan Detert has brought top influencers, brands, press, and financing to his venture-backed company, which has offices in Beverly Hills, NYC, and Las Vegas. Detert has brought over 10,000 of the most engaged social media influencers onto the Influential platform, and used third-party data and technology to turn the Wild West of social into an agency-friendly media buy across Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, and YouTube. Through Influential, Detert has led campaigns for top advertising agencies and holding companies including Dentsu, Interpublic, Omnicom, Publicis and WPP, for global brands like Sony Pictures, Nestle, Coca Cola, Kia Motors, General Mills, Unilever, and even The United Nations. He has also been featured in publications like Forbes, Inc., Adweek, Venture Beat, Wall Street Journal and has appeared on broadcast TV shows Entertainment Tonight, HLN’s The Daily Share, and Good Morning Britain.

 

Mark Kapczynski has a successful track record as a serial entrepreneur, chief executive, and cross-industry expert.  He serves as an Executive Director of the UCLA Venture Capital Fund, helping to foster innovation connected to the university.  Programs include early stage investing, mentoring, and access to Intellectual Property from university patents. Mr. Kapczynski advises startup businesses as part of the LA Chamber of Commerce’s Bixel Exchange.  In this role, Mr. Kapczynski assists technology startups in Southern California to design their businesses, build out their teams and raise capital to fuel their growth. He also serves as a Venture Partner for Arrowroot Capital in Santa Monica, CA. At Arrowroot, Mr. Kapczynski focuses on investments in the SaaS market in need of growth capital to further develop their businesses.  The areas that Mr. Kapczynski addresses are Big Data & Analytics, Financial Services, and Consumer Internet. Mr. Kapczynski last served as VP of Corporate Development and Strategy for Experian's consumer businesses which include leading consumer brands: Experian, FreeCreditReport.com, and ProtectMyID. Through executing on over 8 M&A transactions, Mr. Kapczynski helped to facilitate Experian’s under-lying growth and profitability. Mr. Kapczynski graduated from UCLA film school and continues to be active in multiple industry associations that span media, mobile telecom, technology, and consumer internet.  He has 12 patents to his name and an additional 40 patents pending.
