Nancy Lane is the senior executive producer of CBS News Digital. In this role, she oversees all content for CBS News' digital properties, including CBSNews.com, the CBS News mobile apps and social media accounts, and CBSN, CBS News' 24/7 digital streaming news network. CBSN continues to experience record growth, drawing more than 280 million live streams in 2017 to grow

viewership 17% from the 2016 Election year. In addition, CBSNews.com continues to reach an even greater audience, with unique visitors up 20% year-over-year during 2017. Lane has driven various new content initiatives that have expanded CBSN’s original content slate, including the launch of daily current affairs program “Red and Blue” and the CBSN Originals documentary series. To date, CBSN has streamed over 16 ORIGINALS, covering a wide range of topics that take a deep dive into the key issues driving the national and global conversation. In addition, Lane was integral to the launch of “CBSN: On Assignment,” a limited-run primetime series highlighting CBSN’s distinctive reporting style that premiered on the CBS Television Network in June 2017. Prior to joining CBS News Digital, Lane was senior vice president of editorial for CNN/U.S., where she directed newsgathering operations, including rapid response to breaking news and in-depth coverage of ongoing and exclusive stories. She also oversaw affiliate desks, domestic bureau chiefs, guest booking, and the deployment of CNN's domestic newsgathering resources. Previously, Lane served as vice president and news director of CNN/U.S. Lane joined CNN in 1981 as an intern in its New York City bureau, and subsequently served as an assignment editor, field and line producer, senior political producer, New York executive producer, Washington executive producer and deputy Washington bureau chief. She graduated from City University of New York-Hunter College. Lane is based at CBS News headquarters in New York.

 

Christopher Mack is the Vice President and Head of Scripted Content for Stage 13 and is a Senior Vice President at Warner Bros. Television. Since 2007, he has headed the Studio’s Television Workshop, the premier writing and directing program for professionals looking to start and/or further their careers in television. In this role, Chris has curated a stellar roster of writer/director alumnae, representing breakthrough emerging voices working on the most high-profile television shows today. In addition to these responsibilities, Chris has covered hit shows such as “Two and Half Men” and “Smallville” for the Current Programs Department. In his Stage 13 role, Mack taps into his vast expertise to help guide the talent, story and content development, production, and streaming strategy for the diverse and complex scripted slate of shows featuring daring storytellers from all backgrounds. Most recently, he has been at the forefront of incubating and launching Stage 13, an original digital content brand and initiative for Warner Bros. Digital Network. Mack is a leading force behind the ambitious scripted content slate for the brand creating and curating fearless, original, high-quality multi-dimensional spanning genres in scripted content. He and his team created under a dozen scripted series in the comedy, horror and drama genres, with five premiering in digital categories at film festivals including the 2017 Sundance Film Festival SXSW Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, OUTfest, LA Film Festival, Series Fest and the international horror festival MorbidoFest. Prior to joining Warner Bros., Mack spent seven years writing on various one-hour dramas including “ER,” “The Practice” and “The New Twilight Zone.” He also created a Saturday morning show for NBC titled “Skate” and penned a TNT movie titled Red Water. After graduating from Loyola Law School, Chris got his start in television at NBC Studios as an Associate and he quickly rose to become an executive. During his time at the newly created NBC Studios, he oversaw a varied list of shows including: “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air,” “In The House,”  “Homicide: Life on the Streets” and “The Pretender.”

 

Andrew Tucker is a Team Lead for Google Partner Development in North America, focusing on desktop, tablet and mobile web monetization strategy for publishers. Before joining Google, Andrew spent three years at DigitasLBi as a Media Planner representing American Express Brand Sponsorships. Prior to that, he co-founded a web-based software which he was involved in for seven years. Andrew holds a BA in Public Policy Studies from Duke University.

 

Erik Ramberg, Head of TV Platform Product Management, Ericsson Media Solutions: Erik is a seasoned product management and business development executive with over 15 years of experience in the media and technology industry. He is the Head of TV Platform Product Management for Ericsson MediaFirst TV Platform. In this role, he oversees the product and business strategy of Ericsson’s new cloud TV technology product, working with Tier-1 global operators as they deploy their next-generation cloud-based TV services. He has spoken at shows including TV of Tomorrow and Digital Entertainment World. Erik joined Ericsson as part of the Mediaroom acquisition from Microsoft. During his 10-year tenure at Microsoft, Erik led various initiatives involving new business opportunities, product management, and product planning of the TV and Media (TVM) organization, including Xbox and Windows Media Center. At Microsoft, Erik managed key operator and consumer electronic partnerships, including Sony, Best Buy, Samsung, Toshiba and Panasonic. Prior to Microsoft, Erik presided as General Manager and Vice President of MovieBeam, a video-on-demand service started with major investment from the Disney Corporation, specifically its subsidiary Buena Vista Datacasting. Erik’s entertainment and wireless communications industry experience also includes working at Dotcast and Cellnet Data Systems. Erik received a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from Harvey Mudd College.

 

Sharon Harris, Senior Manager, Deloitte Consulting LLP: Sharon Harris recently joined Deloitte as a Senior Manager on the Google DoubleClick Alliances team. Sharon is completely energized about her new role with the Alliances team, anticipating the future opportunities to collaborate in delivering cutting-edge, visionary solutions. Sharon’s creativity, combined with global advertising and marketing expertise, consistently lands her squarely on the pulse of whatever demanding, technology organizations and tech-savvy consumers want. Having more than 18 years of traditional and digital media experience, Sharon is a new media pro whose influence and know-how has contributed to branding and launching numerous campaigns and products. Sharon is the rare fusion of influential brand marketer and technology ace.  From digital platforms to satellite radio to interactive TV and mobile initiatives, Sharon has worked with a variety of senior management teams at major corporations to help define and translate their brand and business strategies into revenue. Prior to joining Deloitte, Sharon was a Senior Product Manager with T-Mobile, with responsibilities for building a native application for retail messaging. Before that, she was the Global Lead Product Marketer on AOL’s mobile team working to integrate the mobile offerings of AOL, Millennial Media, Verizon and Microsoft. Preceding AOL, Sharon made her mark at Microsoft as the Senior Global Product Marketing Manager and was a fundamental launch contributor for Windows 8 Ads-in-Apps.  She was responsible for Microsoft’s global go-to-market strategy for Windows 8 Ads-in-Apps.  Sharon drove the global business, leveraging virtual work teams to launch new product offerings and was responsible for the fall 2012 launch of advertising on Windows 8.  She led the launch of advertising on Skype's iOs app in early 2012, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2010.  Sharon designed sales coordination efforts, led global sales training as well as the overall messaging for advertising on Windows 8.  Sharon currently resides in Issaquah, WA a suburb of Seattle, where she enjoys volunteering with community organizations, contemporary art, live music performances and international travel to visit her adopted elephant in Kenya.
