Neil Parris leads Google's AR / VR content efforts across the entertainment vertical, partnering with world-class IP owners and talent to develop and distribute innovative content experiences across Google’s platforms. Before joining the Daydream team, Parris led entertainment partnerships for Google's Consumer Apps Marketing group and oversaw major content/marketing partnerships with Disney, Warner Bros., Netflix, Fox, ABC and others.. Prior to Google, Parris worked at EQAL, an early pioneer in the YouTube/social/influencer space (later acquired by Everyday Health), Edelman (in their branded

 entertainment division) and 8+ years in the film business as a creative executive. Parris is a member of the TV Academy and serves on the Digital Strategy Committee. Parris holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Pennsylvania and an MFA in Film / TV Producing from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts' Peter Stark Program.

 

Pete Peterson, former Senior Director, Immersive and Real-time Experiences, Deutsche Telekom AG: Known as a creative thinker, Pete has an innovative and distinguished career extending wireless communications into emerging areas, through business development and finance.  He is part of the current vanguard making the world “AR and VR ready.”  He has identified, developed and executed explorative intercompany collaborations on immersive technologies incl. AR, next generation sports, computer vision, 5G and low latency edge compute, many of which have led to design awards as well as new business entities. Prior to his immediate immersive technology successes at Deutsche Telekom, Pete evangelized Microsoft mobile as the Director for Executive Communications.  He was responsible for the crafting and delivery of mobile device strategy, and global competitive positioning after a decade working for leading European cellular providers, including Vodafone and Sonera, where he developed new services and network deployments. Pete received an MBA from Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, and a BS (Engineering) and BA (History) from Stanford University.

 

Clay Weishaar is a creative director at Tool of North America. His work has been honored by Cannes Lions, the One Show, D&AD, and the FWA. He serves on the judging panel for the CSS design awards.  His work has been featured on the Creators Project, Fast Company, Creative Applications, Mashable, and many others. Brands he has worked with include Nike, Apple, Google, Netflix, and Airbnb  Most recently he has creative directed a variety of VR projects these include IBM, Ford, and Adidas.

 

Ariella Lehrer, Ph.D., President, HitPoint Studios: A well-known game industry veteran, Ariella has dedicated her career to creating unique interactive experiences that seek to expand the market for new technologies. Her growing portfolio of products has consistently engaged new customers, in particular women and children, for more than three decades. Lehrer currently serves as President of HitPoint Studios, a talented team of 25 engineers, designers, and artists in Western Massachusetts. HitPoint works with clients such as Microsoft, Google, Disney and Electronic Arts to build engaging apps, solve complex technical problems, and maximize the potential of new technologies such as Augmented Reality. Lehrer has a PhD. in Cognitive Psychology from Claremont Graduate University and writes about interactive design and technology on her blog, www.ariellalehrer.com.

 

Patrick Aluise, SVP, Digital Content, Moviebill: Patrick Aluise is the SVP of Digital Content at Moviebill, the Augmented Reality print/digital platform being distributed at cinemas nationwide for the biggest movies of the year. Readers can access never-before-seen Augmented Reality activations that brings the content to life in a multi-faceted, seamless online and offline experience. Moviebill was created by Concourse Media principals Matthew Shreder and James Andrew Felts. Prior to joining Moviebill, Patrick was Head of Business Development for Trigger, The Mixed Reality Agency.  Before Trigger, Patrick Aluise served as Vice President, Head of Media and Entertainment for Blippar, a leading augmented reality platform specializing in turning any physical item into an instant interactive AR experience for consumers. Prior to Blippar, Patrick was VP, Business Development for mobile interactive agency, Nellymoser where he helped create and deliver the first ever AR experiences as well as over 500 other interactive mobile campaigns for media outlets, entertainment companies and brand advertisers.

 

Nancy King, Consultant with NewView Marketing: bridges that gap between client and agency with a keen understanding of the issues that confront today's marketing executive. Ms. King formed her own marketing consulting company, NewView Marketing in 2000 after years of successful client side experiences in a variety of different industries from toys to technology to food and entertainment. She has held the position of Vice President of Marketing at Mattel Toys, FreeConference.com and Youbet.com among others.
