Alec Shankman is the Senior Vice President and Head of Alternative Programming, Digital Media and Licensing at Abrams Artists Agency. He started his career in Hollywood at AAA in 2003 where he personally launched the very successful and quickly growing department. Alec and his team represent many of the top TV personalities, producers, and influencers across linear and digital media. Linear projects and talent/casts that he has been directly involved with include examples such as A&E’s Duck Dynasty, Discovery’s Gold Rush, Nat Geo’s Wicked Tuna, MTV’s Teen Mom, NBC’s The Biggest Loser, Travel Channel’s Expedition Unknown, Bravo’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,

History Channel’s Swamp People, Travel Channel’s Ghost Adventures, Discovery’s Street Outlaws, etc. Digital clientele include personalities such as Mr. Kate, Teni Panosian, Andrea Brooks, Brodie Smith, Dove Cameron, Furious Pete, Vitaly, and Jon Rettinger, as well as many more. In 2009 Alec also co-founded GotCast.com, which was the Internet’s premier interactive casting site & social network for talent. Under his supervision, GotCast innovated the talent sourcing business, casting over 750,000 entertainment projects. He also launched MediaBlastr, GotCast's popular social media-based contest platform. MediaBlastr powered hugely successful campaigns sponsored by top brands like Mercedes-Benz, Sony Playstation, L'Oreal, Dove, Charles Schwab, & Garnier Fructis. In 2010, GotCast was honored by the Los Angeles Business Journal for Innovation & Vision. Alec's 1st book, ‘Moving to Los Angeles: The ABC’s of Making Your Hollywood Dreams Come True,’ was published in 2010. His 2nd book 'Moving to Los Angeles: The ABC's of Getting an Agent,' was published in 2012.

 

Tania Yuki is the founder and CEO of Shareablee, a leading provider of social content analytics for business. She has spent most of her career in digital marketing, measurement and analytics, and was recently honored with several awards including, the SmartCEO Brava Award, Cynopsis Media Top Women in Digital Award, Direct Marketing News and Multichannel News 40 Under 40, L’Oréal Women in Digital Next Generation Award, and by Advertising Age as a 2015 Media Maven and 2016 40 Under 40. Tania began her career as a media and internet attorney, specializing in digital rights management, IP and film financing. After moving to the US from Australia she was seduced by digital and went on to run an online video content network as head of acquisitions and branding and has also led product management for comScore's Video Metrix, the world's leading online video ratings service. Tania is also the founder of wimlink, an organization that holds regular events and seminars promoting entrepreneurship, leadership and the professional development of women.'

 

Amy Luca is the President of theAmplify part of the You & Mr Jones Group which is the world's first global brand technology group. TheAmplify is a content and influencer marketing firm with offices in LA, NYC, London and Paris that helps some of the worlds biggest brands leverage the power of social media influencers to produce brand content and conversation. Prior to theAmplify, Amy did two overseas roles, one in Shanghai, China that spanned two years and most recently in Sydney, Australia which spanned 5 years up until June 2017. During her time in Shanghai, Amy worked for Y&R as Business Director and helped to launch the Gap fashion brand in greater China. She was also Director of Digital Strategy for digital agency Agenda where she worked on many global multinational brands including Pepsi, J&J, Budweiser, and Wrigley. In 2012 she transferred to Sydney, Australia where she served as General Manager of GPY&R responsible for global brands including Revlon, Colgate-Palmolive, and LG. In 2015 Amy left Y&R to pursue more entrepreneurial pursuits in digital technology which included advising on sports technology startups and helping to launch an influencer marketing company, Visual Amplifiers. Before heading overseas Amy worked for TBWA/Chiat/Day, G2 Direct and Digital, Grey and American Golf Corporation. Amy is also Adjunct Professor of Digital Marketing at the USC Marshall School of Business, the school from which she graduated from in 2009. She has B.S. degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University (1999) and MBA from USC Marshall School of Business (2009)

 

Benoit Vatere - CEO, Co-Founder, Mammoth Media: Benoit Vatere is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Mammoth Media, the only mobile-first media company producing and delivering short-form content to entertain global audiences on their smartphones. In his current role, Vatere oversees the strategic vision and execution for the company. Having witnessed firsthand the powerful shift from desktop to mobile, Vatere saw the opportunity to create a new type of media company. One that brings gaming mechanics to media in a way that had never been done before, and marries it with true ownership of distribution, monetization and audience acquisition. As the mobile media “lot,” Mammoth Media operates as a full 360-entertainment brand. Prior to Mammoth Media, Vatere served as CEO and General Manager of Playhaven, a mobile gaming monetization platform that employed deep user segmentation. He was also VP of Distribution Network at LookSmart, where he managed distribution of online media, led all technical sales and strategic relationships and was in charge of an executive team of web analysts, traffic quality managers, SEM/SEO managers and system integrators who conceptualized all new product initiatives and validated marketing need. Additionally, Vatere has co-founded two technology companies: magnify360, the leading conversion optimization company with proprietary technology aligning media buying and the post-click experience, and Popular.fr, a peer-to-peer want ad website with a similar business model to epinions.com. Vatere is a graduate of L’École Nationale Supérieure des Sciences Agronomiques de Bordeaux with a Masters in Engineering and Marketing.

 

Lyle Stevens, Co-Founder & CEO, Mavrck: A self-described data geek and hacker, Lyle Stevens is the co-founder and CEO of Mavrck. Under Lyle’s leadership, Mavrck has secured dozens of Fortune 500 customers, including P&G, Keurig Green Mountain, and Godiva. The company also won the “Innovative Technology of the Year in Sales & Marketing” award by MassTLC, and created a stellar culture of "curious hustlers," earning Entrepreneur’s "25 Best Small Company Cultures" of 2015. Prior to founding Mavrck, Lyle held several management roles at Raytheon, including identity services lead and information technology project manager. He graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

 

Ryan Detert, CEO, Influential: As CEO of Influential, an A.I. influencer technology and developer partner of IBM Watson, Ryan Detert has brought top influencers, brands, press, and financing to his venture-backed company, which has offices in Beverly Hills, NYC, and Las Vegas. Detert has brought over 10,000 of the most engaged social media influencers onto the Influential platform, and used third-party data and technology to turn the Wild West of social into an agency-friendly media buy across Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, and YouTube. Marc Karzen, CEO, RelishMIX: Relish founder/CEO Marc Karzen has been an entertainment-technology-innovator for nearly 20 years. From the Digital production revolution in 1993 (Apple, Radius, Adobe)  to the Dotcom Web Video Revolution in 2000 (Apple Quicktime Networks, Akamai, YouTube) and now, the Social TV Revolution (Social Networks for TV shows on Vh1, ABC, Discovery, MSNBC, TLC, OWN, Animal Planet and more). - Karzen worked in NYC at NBC for SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE and LATE NIGHT WITH DAVID LETTERMAN for 10 years where he shot and designed award winning on-air graphics and bumpers. - On Madison Avenue, Karzen was art director at Grey Entertainment & Media (ABC ENTERTAINMENT, RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL). - In Los Angeles, Karzen owned and ran Qstudios, the first ever full-service creative, design, animation, production, music, one-stop shop in Hollywood producing commercials, promos and TV main titles for ABC, CBS, FOX, PARAMOUNT, COLUMBIA TV, WARNER BROS TV, DISNEY, UPN, MTV, E!, LA CELLULAR and AMC. - Karzen co-founded SADDLETUDE, the online network for equestrian sport, the first international sports channel on APPLE'S Quicktime Network.
