M.F. Fogel (‘Michele’), Founder and CEO, Your Moral Compass Counts, LLC: M.F. Fogel (or Michele) is affectionately known as ‘the one L michele®’ or ‘the 1L michele®’ or as she sometimes says, “one L-no hell.” Michele recently launched online her own mother board, more correctly and commonly known as the e-commerce website of her company, Your Moral Compass Counts®, LLC to provide hope, happiness and humor regarding the internal compass about people. She wants to be the woman over 50 invited to one day grace the cover of Time Magazine, as the thought leader for moral leadership, and the interrupter/disrupter and name-changer/game-changer. Her ingenuity, creativity and positivity meshed with her empathy, her flair with words and a keen sense of humor, make her a diamond in the rough. Formerly, a judge pro tem, and a practicing attorney with admission to the U.S. Supreme Court, Michele is transitioning to become a best-selling author, national speaker and apparel entrepreneur. While Michele has developed and achieved an expertise as a specialist about online removal of Personally Identifiable Information (‘PII’)--one reason for her invitation as a panelist on the “Hollywood and Cybercrime” panel (and a current hot topic in today’s society), she is most proud being told several years ago by the former Chief of Pediatrics at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, of the “exceptional job” she did raising her two children—a male and female, now in their mid-to late twenties. Michele invites you to follow her company on Twitter (@YourMoralCC) and on Instagram (YourMoralCompassCounts) and also maybe on Facebook too!

Eric Schlissel, CEO and President, GeekTek: Eric’s strong leadership and technical expertise propels GeekTek past the boundaries of a traditional IT service provider. GeekTek has a security-first approach to computing, focusing on elevating clients’ use of technology while navigating the ever-changing landscape. Eric cares deeply about the culture at GeekTek and leads by example based on longstanding guiding principles: Being Flexible, Listening and Asking, Building True Partnerships and Doing the Right Thing. Eric attributes his success to an insatiable curiosity about the world around him. The day he realized his passion was for investigating how computers affect people in life and in business as opposed to developing expertise programming secure vending machines, he put down his copy of Applied Cryptography and switched his major from computer science to anthropology. The following week he began his first technology consulting practice, and brought it to Los Angeles after he graduated. Throughout Eric’s career, he has sought to bridge the gap between people, technology and security, the foundation on which GeekTek’s unique approach to client services is built. Widely recognized as a thought leader in the IT industry, Eric has been featured on the cover of ChannelPro and as a subject matter expert in Strafford’s mobility webinar series. Eric has been a finalist for the Los Angeles Business Journal CIO Awards and has been quoted in The LA Times, Wired, CIO Magazine, ChannelPro, InformationWeek, InfoWorld, PC World and other news outlets. GeekTek has been consistently ranked among the top providers globally by MSPMentor, CRN and Channelnomics. In addition, Eric has emerged as a thought leader in the rapidly developing international cannabis industry. Since launching GeekTek Protect, a security-focused offshoot which safeguards the industry’s growing data assets, Eric has written on the subject for the National Association of Cannabis Businesses’ NACB Insights newsletter and Cannabis Magazine. He has spoken on data security strategies in cannabis distribution/transportation at the California Cannabis Business Conference and moderated a panel on data security at the 2017 New West Summit. Outside of work, Eric can be found gardening with his two small children, gamely attempting to master growing a thriving basil plant and healthy tomatoes at the the same time.
