Jeff Park is the Chief Technology Officer for HDMI® Licensing Administrator, Inc. and serves as the technical expert for all HDMI related spec and consumer issues. Park is responsible for acting as the HDMI representative at industry events and responding to consumer and manufacturer's HDMI technical questions well as overseeing the ATCs and HDMI technical compliance programs. Prior to holding the HDMI Technology Specification Manager positions, Park was a Director of Marketing for Synerchip, Inc. Previously he held positions at Silicon Image, Inc., Cisco Systems, Inc. and LG Electronics USA for a total of 16 years. Park attended the University of California, San Diego and studied mathematical computer science.

 

Rich Affannato is the Chairman, CEO and Co-founder of The STAGE Network, the world’s first streaming Network dedicated to premium content from and about the live theatre world, launching this spring. He is responsible for the development and acquisition of content, including live-streaming Broadway shows and theatre across the globe, original scripted series, reality series, talk shows, concerts, films and documentaries. All about theatre. He has managed, developed, and overseen commercial Broadway, Off-Broadway, Film, and Television productions, as well as International concert events worldwide. Rich is a Tony® and Drama Desk Award-nominated producer whose producing credits include the Kander and Ebb musical The Visit on Broadway starring Chita Rivera, Peter and the Starcatcher on Broadway (9 Tony nominations, including Best Play, winning 5) and the First National Tour, ANN on Broadway (written by and starring Holland Taylor) at Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theatre, and the critically acclaimed New York production of SILENCE! The Musical (Winner-Off Broadway Alliance Award for Best Musical, Lucille Lortel nomination for Best Musical, TIME Magazine's Top 10). He also produced the show's Original Cast Album (available on Sh-K-Boom/ Ghostlight Records), which debuted at # 12 on the Billboard Top Broadway Chart. Rich’s opinions and perspectives as an influencer in the field of Broadway producing and investing have been featured in Crain's Wealth Magazine and Bloomberg News.

 

Jon Cody is the founder and CEO of TV4 Entertainment, the global leader in streaming channels. Jon’s professional career is closely tied to the creation and evolution of web entertainment, marketing, and distribution. He spent more than 4 years as a Special Policy Advisor and Legal Advisor under FCC Chairman Michael K. Powell. Here he played a key in role in developing the first comprehensive national broadband plan for the United States. This was quickly followed with a successful run as the General Manager of Hulu during the streaming service’s initial launch. He also served as the SVP of Digital Media at Fox Network Groups (FNG), where he grew the business to $150 million in revenues across 30+ Digital and sports properties. As VP and Director of Digital Media at FNG, Jon established electronic sell-through, rental, and ad-supported streaming businesses for Fox Entertainment Group's film and television studios, as well as broadcast and cable networks, generating hundreds of millions in annual revenue. He launched the first long-form entertainment streaming player by a major broadcast network (FOX on Demand), and orchestrated the first branded advertising profile utilizing professional video inside of MySpace, in partnership with Burger King. Recognizing the rapid pace at which internet and entertainment technologies are commingling, Jon set off on his newest venture: TV4 Entertainment. Over the past five years, he’s developed a 21st-century storytelling platform that is the solution to the massive media disruption currently underway across the globe. As the CEO and Founder of TV4 Entertainment, Jon has helped create, acquire, and distribute thousands of hours of streaming content, original films, television, and music across five key categories: Sports, Entertainment, Individuality, Health, and Music.

 

Kim Hurwitz joined KOKO Sports Management in September 2017 as Chief Marketing Officer  where she spearheaded the March 2018 launch of Karate Combat, a new global sports league.  Ms. Hurwitz was previously Chief Content Officer for FOTV Media Networks Inc. a global digital  platform she grew to 1,000 channels, featuring the eponymous TV network she programmed  with carriage worldwide via Digital, OTT, Dish Network (USA) and Sky (UK). She also led the  corporation’s global partnership, distribution and syndication efforts during her tenure from  2010 -2017.  From 2000-2005, Kim was Director of Marketing for DIRECTV overseeing PPV and Advanced  Products managing a $500mm annual P&L, returning to the telecommunications giant from  2009-2010. Past positions include Vice President of Marketing, PR and Distribution at MWG  Media, National Director of Affiliate Relations for the Tube Music Network, Regional Marketing  Manager for Adelphia/TCI and President/Co-Founder of the SoCal PPV Cable Group.  The recipient of numerous marketing awards, Ms. Hurwitz studied Theater Arts at the  University of California, Los Angeles, and possesses more than 20 years’ experience building  and monetizing leading entertainment platforms and brands.

 

Enrique Olives, Global Business Development Head and Business Unit Head, ABS-CBN Global: Based in San Francisco, Enrique is Global Business Development Head and Business Unit Head -TFC Online at ABS-CBN Global, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ABS-CBN, the largest media and entertainment company in the Philippines. Launched in 2004, TFC Online (www.tfc.tv), offers the widest selection of Filipino TV shows and movies targeting the 10 million overseas Filipinos. Aside from launching TFC Online, Enrique was also responsible for launching the company’s IPTV service globally. Enrique’s track record includes 25 years of experience in broadcasting, business development and finance. He was Managing Director of ABS-CBN Japan from 2009-2013 and served as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Finance at SKYCable, the Philippines' largest cable network. Enrique holds an MBA from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, CA, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines.

 

Frank Chindamo, President and Chief Creative Officer, Fun Little Movies: Frank Chindamo is the President and Chief Creative Officer of Fun Little Movies. "FLM" specializes in producing original, live-action comedy films for its mobile channels of entertainment on Sprint-Nextel, Microsoft, Smart Video phones, in the US and many other countries around the world. They’re known as "Fun Funny Phone Films." Fun Little Movies has been the subject of cover stories in Forbes Magazine and the L.A. Times, and stories in Variety, Hollywood Reporter, CBS Radio, Wired Magazine, CBS TV’s Inside Edition, The Chicago Tribune, and several other outlets. Frank Chindamo holds the world's record for most short films made independently. His films have appeared on HBO, Showtime, CBS, PBS, A&E, Playboy, MTV and Comedy Central, etc. They’ve won 20 awards including The American Cine Golden Eagle, The American International Film Festival and a Finalist's Place for Best Short at the Cannes Film Festival. Frank is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California. At USC, Frank teaches short screenplay writing. He also created the Student Script Database, the tool which will allow directors and writers to pool their talent and is intended to bring the best-written scripts at USC to the screen. As Executive Director of the Staged Screenplay Reading Series at the Lee Strasberg Theater, and as the Director of the Professional Screenwriting Workshops at SONY Studios, Chindamo developed fourteen feature films which have been produced for the screen. Frank also taught at the Gotham Writer’s Workshop and City University of New York. Frank was also a Vice President of Development at two production companies in LA and has worked as a script consultant on numerous projects. Frank Chindamo received his Film B.F.A. from N.Y.U. and his Screenwriting M.F.A. from Columbia University.

 

James M. Burger, Partner, Thompson Coburn LLP: Jim is a member of the Thompson Coburn Lobbying & Policy and Intellectual Property Groups. He has worked extensively on legal and policy issues arising from the intersection of digital technology, intellectual property protection, communications, and government regulation. Jim has represented the Computer Industry Group and other information technology entities in efforts to secure copy protection rules for DVDs, Blu-ray discs and digital music downloads. He has also represented technology clients before the Administration, Congress, and the FCC in regard to the Digital TV Transition, the Broadcast Flag, and international agreements affecting U.S. intellectual property law. His efforts in the copyright law arena include his work leading negotiations to exclude the computer industry from the Audio Home Recording Act, to avoid passage of the Digital Video Recording Act, and prevent passage of analog hole legislation. In addition, Jim has worked with the semiconductor industry in its efforts to prevent the importation of dangerous counterfeit semiconductors. Jim teaches Copyright Law at Georgetown Law School. Jim also served seven years as an adjunct professor at the University of Virginia Law School, where he taught Advanced Administrative Law.
