Catherine Gudvangen is Executive Producer at Schiefer Chopshop, an international media and content agency based in Irvine, CA. As EP, Catherine is responsible for effectively delivering SCS’ innovative content for its global brands. Catherine combines her story-editing and doc-style experience in reality television (MTV, SpikeTV, FX) with her extensive commercial experience (Boost Mobile, Blizzard Entertainment, Royal Purple) and her 25 years of beauty, fitness and housewares brand direct-response experience (philosophy, L’Oreal, Conair, Keurig, Breville) to produce branded broadcast and digital content for SCS that delivers powerful brand awareness with solid viewer engagement and response. Her credits include MTV’s "Sorority Life" and “Fraternity Life” (Executive Producer), “Tripped Out” (Editor/Story Editor) and “10

Things” (Writer) on SpikeTV, “Instant Comedy with the Groundlings” (Producer) on FX and the independent feature film “Soulmates” (Executive Producer). Schiefer Chopshop is an Irvine-based media and content agency. Founded in 2016 with the merger of media agency Schiefer Media and content creation studio Chopshop, Schiefer media integrates data-driven media planning and innovative creative concepts for global brands.

 

Jonathan Stern, SVP of Strategic Development at Bunim/Murray Productions: Jonathan is Senior Vice President, Strategic Development for Bunim/Murray Productions (BMP) responsible for shaping and supporting domestic and international business initiatives that drive growth and profitability for BMP across new and traditional media. As one example, Ball in the Family is currently one of the most successful shows on Facebook Watch and BMP is continuing to look cross-platform. Before BMP, Jonathan also led OTT strategy as SVP Strategic Development at the millennial-focused Fusion television network where he drove global expansion of Fusion’s reach and distribution of programming across existing and emerging platforms. During his tenure, he led all domestic and international content licensing and syndication partnerships. He also built, launched and managed the linear and digital television network in Mexico as well as Fusion-branded OTT channels across all major connected devices. At Fusion, they were also among the first to launch a channel on Snapchat Discover and Jonathan facilitated one of the first music videos to be published through the Snapchat Discover platform.

 

Phoenix Gonzalez is the co-founder and President of Sales at dotstudioPRO a white-label OTT SaaS Platform. With over 15 years of experience in entertainment media, her passion and profession lie at the intersection of media and technology. With a proven track record of leadership and success, Phoenix has delivered a video technology solutions that help to transform the way we consume media digitally, across platforms and devices today, clients including Minnesota Vikings, American Beauty Stars - Lifetime and Nosey TV - NBC/Marathon Ventures to name a few. As a female co-founder in technology and entertainment, Phoenix knows the importance of giving back to her peers. In 2017 she joined the LA Board of the National Nonprofit "Step Up Women's Network", helping mentor underprivileged teen girls from under-resourced areas getting them career ready and off to College. She also sits on the Advisory Board of "Take the Leads" new initiative "50 Women Can Change the World in Media & Entertainment', which is a 4-month intensive and intimate women's leadership training program specifically tailored for women in Media & Entertainment to open the door to deeper understanding and a quickened pace to equality for all. Phoenix is a powerhouse who continues to defy all odds in her career and has been recognized by her peers in multiple industries.

 

Neil Davis is the Chief Business Officer of uCast (formerly Qello); one of the largest global internet TV platforms. Neil manages all revenue for the company in addition to creating the most strategic partnerships.  Prior to uCast, Neil helped run and served on the Board of ConTV (Comic Con SVOD service) and raised capital for many start-up’s and Series A companies.  Neil started in TV and then went onto running global business development for AOL during the good years.  He then spent some frustrating time as a Movie Producer before moving onto running digital for Blockbuster during the good and not so good years.  Neil went to DISH Networks where Blockbuster became SlingTV  and ran business development.

 

Jeffrey Stansfield is the President and CEO of Advantage Video Systems, a leading technology provider to the broadcast, motion picture, television and motion graphics industries. Stansfield launched AVS in 2001 and has steadily built its clientele by focusing on one customer at a time. His slogan, “How can we make your day perfect?” drives him and his team to empower clients with the latest information and technology solutions. His company’s work encompasses workflow consultation, design, installation and integration. Stansfield has served as a general board member, treasurer and secretary of SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers). He supports many other industry organizations including the Creative Pro User Group Network, the Digital Cinema Society, the Hollywood Post Alliance, the Society of Television Engineers and the National Association of Broadcasters. His more than 25 years of experience includes the construction of broadcast facilities as well as technology services for production and post-production facilities, special effects businesses and motion graphics businesses.  Stansfield is a certified editor in Final Cut, Avid and Adobe Premiere, and a beta tester for Adobe After Effects and Premiere. He holds certifications in cabling systems, including fiber, and offers expertise in cameras, lighting, shared storage and asset management solutions.

 

Tai Greene is the founder and chairman of MCMG – Missing Channel Media Group, founder of MyChoice – contextual marketplace, founder of EXLabs – technology incubator and the managing partner of Exthusia, a strategic design and technology consulting practice that employs the User Centric Design methodology. They connect Product Management frameworks to Development best practices. Tai is responsible for running all facets of MCMG’s media business – network creation, distribution (digital, cable, satellite, OTA), agency and production partners. At MyChoice, he drives the company’s efforts to develop SaaS big data & ecommerce solutions and media networks that are transforming the media industry, while setting the strategic business direction. He also continues to guide the development of MyChoice’s suite of advertising products and the technology behind its content platform. Tai was a founding team member of in 2011 Zaarly, an on developing a proximity-based, real-time, buyer-powered market platform. Prior to creating Zaarly, in 2006, he founded Exthusia, a technology strategy consultancy that design’s, architect enterprise and mobile solutions for fortune 500 companies, including AIG, Berkshire Hathaway, Boeing, Hewlett Packard, Salesforce (XTaaS),  Toyota, Volkswagen, CapitalStream, One West Bank, Bank of America, Mitchell International, State Farm, Geico, Met Life Ins., AAA Insurance, Ohio State Bar Association, Warner Brothers, FOX, and Disney. In 2010, he was an adjunct at the Art Institute of California in the Web Interactive Media Department teaching Human Computer Interaction & entrepreneurship. Tai's activities combine an immediate interest in global emerging markets with enthusiasm for adventure, fascination with science and passion for people. He is currently focused on the advancement of the A.I. - Deep learning, Blockchain, mobile ubiquity, smart grid, renewable energy, content distribution, and cloud computing. Tai is on the board of TECHCamp SV, an accelerator catalyst for middle school through college-age students to form early stage STEAM entities that graduate into VC ready companies. He did grad studies in software management | HCI at Carnegie Mellon University Silicon Valley and holds a BA in multimedia from Cal State University Long Beach.

 

Lauren Cole is President of Cole Media (www.colemediala.com), a boutique consulting group that helps clients launch, evaluate, and grow media-related businesses, including a range of digital media (SVOD, iVOD, AVOD, YouTube channels), cable and satellite television networks, film distribution, broadcast and multicast television, connected TV devices, and mobile, in the U.S. and internationally. Typical projects include business strategy and plans. The company was established in 2002 and has worked with over 140 clients to date.  Past and present clients of Cole Media include Netflix, Gracenote, Yahoo!, Electus, Tribune Digital, Anonymous Content, M-Go, Technicolor, SK Telecom, Nike, Verizon Wireless, Ovation TV, TV One, Hasbro, NBCU, BBC Worldwide, and Scott Sanders Theatrical Productions (Broadway theater). Lauren was previously Chief Operating Officer of PacketVideo Corporation, an early mobile video company, and SVP, International Networks in Sony Pictures’ International Television division where she launched, made investments in, and supervised cable channel investments in Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Australia. She also has worked in Warner Bros.’ Strategic Planning Department and at Bain and Company. Lauren has an A.B. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College and M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Lauren frequently moderates panels at conferences such as Digital Hollywood, and often serves as an expert witness on entertainment-related litigation.
