Dr. Sue Sisley, MD & Principal Investigator for the only FDA-Approved Study of Safety/Efficacy of Cannabis and Combat Veterans: Dr. Sue Sisley MD is an Arizona-based physician practicing Internal Medicine and Psychiatry. She works as Medical Director for medical cannabis license holders in 11 different states/territories from Hawaii to Puerto Rico to New York. Sue serves as Site Principal Investigator for the only FDA-approved randomized controlled trial in the world examining safety/efficacy of whole plant marijuana in combat veterans with treatment-resistant post traumatic stress disorder PTSD. Dr. Sisley is on faculty at Colorado State University PUEBLO campus, recruited for core planning team to organize the CSUP "ICR Institute of Cannabis Research" in Pueblo, Colorado. Dr. Sisley has been a Member of Nevada ILAC Medical Cannabis Commission

for the past two years outlining regulations for laboratory testing including limits on pesticides, residual solvents and other guidelines that are currently being used as a model for other states medical cannabis laws. She also serves on the Steering Committee for Thomas Jefferson University Lambert Cannabis Medical Research Center.

 

Dr. Allan I. Frankel is one of the World’s leading authorities on Dosed Cannabis Medicine.  With over 37 years experience in Internal Medicine, Dr. Frankel applies his knowledge of all aspects of the Cannabis plant, and its therapeutic value as a dosed medicine.  He established GreenBridge Medical, Inc. in 2007 to provide the highest quality medical treatment to patients suffering from multiple chronic and serious medical conditions. Dr. Frankel has presented multiple CME accredited Grand Round Lectures on Internal Medicine and Therapies in Medical Cannabis and participated in round table discussions on the topic of future therapies and research for Medical Cannabis sponsored by the California Medical Association and the Los Angeles County Medical Association.   He has also been a featured speaker on medical cannabis therapies at the International Pelvic Pain Society conference, The University of Washington, Cedars-Sinai Hospital and numerous support groups and care facilities. Dr. Frankel developed the Chartscape medical software program used by the UCLA Bowyer Cancer Center, the eScript medical software utilized by Kaiser Permanente Health System, is the founder of GreenlifeDocs and the CEO of GreenBridge Medical Services. Dr. Frankel graduated second in his class from the UCLA School of Medicine where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society. For three years Dr. Frankel was selected by his peers as one of the Top Internists in LA. He was also a Clinical Professor for eighteen years for the University of California Los Angeles School of Medicine. Dr. Frankel lives in Los Angeles, California, has a daughter, two sons and seven grandchildren.

 

Dr. Philip Oubre, MD, Oubre Medical: Dr. Oubre is a functional medicine doctor who is passionate about spreading the knowledge of reversing disease using food and supplements. Based in Austin, Texas, Dr. Oubre focuses on the root cause of disease, and foster healing and wellness using Nutrition, Movement, Hormone Balance, Digestion, and Stress Management. His practices utilizes a team-based approach that includes a physician, nutritionist, mental health counselor and much more. Beause humans are a complex construct of mental and physical changes, his practice addressies the entire human as a system to help people reverse their disease. He is a Board Certified in Family Medicine, and sees patients of all ages. He is trained to care for infants, children, adults, elderly, and pregnant patients and has been a Certified Functional Medicine Provider since 2017.  His certification is through the Institute for Functional Medicine and he is licensed to prescribe CBD in the state of Texas.

 

Karen Mo, MD is a family physician and has been practicing at the Davis Primary Care Network clinic of UC-Davis Health for the last 17 years. Dr. Mo was an early believer in cannabis as medicine and has helped over 150 patients integrate the plant into their overall patient care. She is dedicated to educating her physician colleagues and patients to the various merits of cannabis, with a focus on working at the grassroots level of her community. She attended the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and completed her family medicine residency in Merced, California.

 

Laura Braden is the Vice President of Strategic Communications of the California Medical Association. Among her duties are overseeing public affairs, marketing, publications, graphic design, public relations, social media and video production. Her over 15 years of experience spans professional sports teams to political campaigns to public affairs at the local, state, federal and international level. Prior to joining CMA, she served in senior communications roles for the Sacramento Kings (NBA), Mercury Public Affairs, the administration of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Senator John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign and DCI Group.
