Chef Luke Reyes, founder, La Hoja: Originally from Massachusetts, Luke Reyes trained with James Beard Award-winning chef Ming Tsai and later moved on to the highly lauded Aujourd’hui at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston. In 2009, he headed West to work alongside chef Ilan Hall at The Gorbals in Los Angeles as chef de cuisine. He then went on to open neighborhood gem The Corner Door in Culver City as executive chef, where he created an eclectic and well-curated menu that focused on local and seasonal ingredients. Reyes eventually moved onto the much-revered Butchers & Barbers, Houston Hospitality’s first-ever restaurant. Chef Reyes has consulted for many other Los Angeles establishments including Tasting Kitchen in Venice, Square One’s Lucky Duck in

Silverlake, and has frequently popped up at Houston Hospitality’s Harvard & Stone. In 2017, Luke launched La Hoja, an elevated cannabis-infused dining experience and catering service. Luke may also be recognized for his victories on Food Network’s CHOPPED and Netflix’s “Cooking on High”, and has recently been featured in GQ, Variety, The Zoe Report, Time Out and UrbanDaddy. Luke will be one of the featured chefs at this year’s esteemed Summit Series conference in Los Angeles, where he will be creating a 3-night private cannabis dinner series for Summit guests. Chef Reyes’ latest project, Vireo Food, a cannabis-infused gourmet food brand, is launching early October. His next restaurant venture, 9th Street Ramen, is slated to open in late 2018.

 

Aaron Ramirez, founder, Bodywork by Aaron: Aaron Ramirez is a California State Certified Massage Therapist. With more than 10 years experience, he masters a variety of methods including: Myofascial, Swedish, Deep-tissue, Sports Prenatal Massage, Reflexology and Acupressure. Aaron is passionate about massage and its therapeutic nature. He is an advocate for holistic health; strongly upholding the belief that massage, when incorporated with other supportive therapies, can provide physical, emotional, spiritual and environmental balance for his clients. "From years of experience, I've been able to determine, that what my clients really need is a combination of therapies designed to fit their individual needs. Anna Duckworth is co-founder and editor-in-chief at Miss Grass—an elevated content and e-commerce platform for women and cannabis. Her career in media and editorial spans magazine, radio, film, television and branded content. She is the former head of content at cannabis brand dosist, managing editor at The Alpine Review magazine, and co-founder of Buckslip—a weekly newsletter named by Bruce Sterling as one of the best of the year in Wired. As a cannabis advocate, certified pilates teacher, and all around self-care enthusiast, Miss Grass is the ultimate manifestation of Anna’s divergent preoccupations—wellness, media, cannabis, and the good women who make it all go round. She is based in Venice, by way of the Great White North (read: Toronto).

 

Robert Rosenheck, Founder and CEO, Lord Jones: Rob is an award winning brand strategist, designer, product developer and the founder of Lord Jones. Lord Jones manufactures and distributes a distinctive line of cannabis and CBD infused edibles, topicals and tinctures with operations in California and Colorado. The New York Times recently described Lord Jones as “A leader in a movement to make marijuana more attractive to a mainstream audience.” Lord Jones has also been featured in The New Yorker, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Forbes, Rollingstone and Fast Company. Lord Jones has collaborated with Equinox, the Standard Hotel Group and the Icelandic rock band Sigur Ros. Prior to Lord Jones, Rob's clients included General Mills, Sony Music, Credit Suisse, Paramount Pictures, Random House Publishing Group, The Center for Environmental Health and Planned Parenthood. Rob is also a life long environmentalist having worked to remediate chemical contamination on Native American tribal lands and has served as Strategic Advisor to the Center for Environmental Health and as a senior fellow with the Environmental Leadership Program. Rob was also co-founder of CAPOBIANCO, an agency specializing in launching and growing innovative brands with offices in New York and Los Angeles.

 

Dan Braunstein, founder of Grassfed is an Israeli-American business professional with a music and business background. Dan is an avid cannabis enthusiast, an advocate, and a patient, using cannabis to help with treat PTSD related insomnia, as well as enhancing various activities & experiences. Grassfed, founded at the end of 2016, with the mission to help de-stigmatize cannabis by offering an innovative healthy and sophisticated approach to social cannabis consumption, and to foster a community of like minded individuals who believe in cannabis (along with music, food, and fitness) as a key to wellness and healthy lifestyle.
